While the launch price of the laptop is Rs 39,490, you can pick up the same at retailers like Croma for Rs 30,499 or on Flipkart for Rs 28,989. The device, which is offered in silver grey, comes with a pretty decent set of features. The model measures 260x168x24.4mm and weighs in at 1.8kg, making it the lightest one on our list.

Lenovo's IdeaPad is definitely worth a look

 

A quick look at the specifications sheet reveals that the S405 comes with a 14-inch HD LED display. The laptop comes with an APU Quad Core AMD A8 processor clocked at 1.6GHz along with Turbo Core technology that can push the speed upto 2.4GHz. The device comes with 4GB of system memory, which can be expanded up to 8GB thanks to an extra memory slot. The gadget also comes with a VGA Webcamera.

 

The S405 also comes with 500GB of internal storage, which should address most of your multimedia needs, althought there is no optical disk drive. It also comes with Windows 8 out-of-the-box as well as an ATI Seymour XT HD 7450 GPU, two USB 2.0 ports, a mic in, an HDMI port as well as a 4-in-1 card reader. The device comes with an Intel Pentium Dual Core (3rd Generation) processor clocked at 1.9GHz. The 3521 comes with 4GB of DDR3 system memory that can be expanded up to 8GB through two extra memory slots. The laptop also comes with 500GB of internal storage. The device, for the CD runners among us, comes with a tray-load DVD RW Drive.

The 3521 also comes with Windows 8, an Intel HD Graphics processor, a 1-megapixel Web camera as well as the standard touch pad and keyboard. Audio is taken care of with stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio 4. In terms of communication, the device comes with both wireless LAN and Bluetooth support.
