Oppo R11 listing reveals dual-camera system and the new Snapdragon 660 chipset

Oppo has silently announced the new R11 in China as the company has listed the smartphone on its website in China. The handset is expected to officially launch on 10 June as the listing says the company will be holding press conference on that date. The product page of the handset however, has revealed all the details around the smartphone. The R11 will be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 660 processor which has eight cores clocked at 2.2 GHz.  The highlight of course the dual rear camera system at the back which sits along with a LED flash at the top-left corner of the back. This dual camera features a 16 MP wide-angle lens and a 20 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom powered by the Qualcomm Spectra Image Sensor Processor which is present on the Snapdragon 660. The camera offers bokeh effect in pictures under the portrait which sounds similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. At the front there is a 20 MP camera to take selfies and make video calls. ![oppo-r11 (2)](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/oppo-r11-2-e1496734093654.jpg) Rest of the features include a 5.5-inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and a pixel density of 401 ppi. The processor is paired with 4 GB of RAM and internal storage is 64 GB. The smartphone will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with Color OS on top. The battery is said to be rated at 2,900 mAh which can be a bit of a concern. The smartphone will be offered in three colors, Gold, Rose Gold and Black and the smartphone will have a thickness of 7.6 mm. The pricing of the phone has not be revealed but should be unveiled on the launch date.
