After a series of rumours, Oppo has finally pulled the curtains off its latest flagship Find 7.The device is now launched in China for CNY 3,498 that translates to approximately Rs 34,500 and will be available starting May or June. Though availability in other regions has not been announced yet, the company has also launched the Oppo 7a variant with Full HD display for emerging markets priced at CNY 2,998 (approximately Rs 29,500), which is expected to go on sale tomorrow in China. The Oppo Find 7 boasts of a **5.5-inch QHD display** with 1440x2560 pixels of resolution, and pixel density that goes all the way up to 538ppi. The Android smartphone runs on heavily skinned version of v4.3 Jelly Bean that Oppo calls Color OS 1.2. It runs on quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) - one of the most powerful processors – clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with a 3GB of RAM. The device gets 32GB onboard storage with support for microSD card slot. The company hasn’t mentioned the maximum expandable memory yet. The highlight of the device is the **previously rumoured** capability to take 50MP photos. However, the catch is its 13MP rear sensor. Yes, you heard it right. The Find 7 comes with a13MP Sony IMX214 CMOS that uses the same oversampling method seen in the Nokia Lumia 1020 to produce 50 megapixel photos with the Super Zoom feature. It also packs in a 5MP front-facing camera that can record 4K video and 720p slow motion video at 120fps. On the connectivity front, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, USB OTG (on-the-go), 3G and 4G LTE. All of this is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery. The Find 7a is expected to launch in India before the Find 7. It sports the slightly slower Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16Gb internal storage. In addition, it gets a 13-megapixel camera. Late last year, the company entered the Indian market with the **Oppo N1** for Rs 39,999, so the new flagship will likely be priced higher. It remains to be seen if only the Find 7a makes it to India or whether the higher-end Find 7 will also be made available.
