The higher-end Oppo Find 7 boasts of a  5.5-inch QHD display  with 1440×2560 pixels of resolution, and pixel density that goes all the way up to 538ppi. This is the first phone with a QHD display to be launched in India, and narrowly beats the LG G3 to market. The Android smartphone runs on heavily skinned version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that Oppo calls Color OS 1.2.

Just like the G3, Xperia Z2, Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8, the Find 7 gets a top-of-the-line quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) – one of the most powerful SoCs in the market – clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with a 3GB of RAM. The device gets a healthy 32GB onboard storage with support for microSD card slot. The company hasn’t mentioned the maximum expandable memory yet.

The Find 7a has a slower Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with microSD card support. It also gets  a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, with 1080x1920 pixels of resolution. The rest of the specs, including the fancy camera remain the same.

The highlight of the Oppo Find 7 is the capability to take 50MP photos. However, the catch is its 13MP rear sensor. The Find 7 comes with a13MP Sony IMX214 CMOS that uses the same  oversampling method seen in the Nokia Lumia 1020  to produce 50 megapixel photos with the Super Zoom feature.

It also packs in a 5MP front-facing camera and the rear camera can record 4K video too as well as 720p slow motion video at 120fps, besides regular 1080p. On the connectivity front, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, USB OTG (on-the-go), 3G and 4G LTE. All of this is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.
