Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is expected to launch the company's latest F series smartphone, the Oppo F5 soon. While the launch date is yet to be confirmed by the company, a new promotional video of the phone reveals a bezel-less 18:9 aspect ratio display and a metal unibody construction.
Based on a report by GSMArena, the Oppo F5 was spotted as part of a video of the smartphone's camera prowess in the Philippines. The video aired on a Phillipino news channel, ABS-CBN Lifestyle, showed a number of models taking selfies with the new smartphone, revealing its metal unibody design as well as the display of the device.
As per the report, Oppo has been spotted using the hashtag 'CaptureTheRealYou' for the ad campaign of the phone on Facebook. An earlier report had also revealed leaked images of the Oppo F5 which suggest that the phone could sport dual front cameras. The company is expected to launch the phone later this month, as a successor to the Oppo F3.
Based on reports, the F5 is expected to come with a 6-inch display, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage. Rumours also suggest that the phone would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset inside and add a large 4000 mAh battery.
