Oppo has introduced its Oppo F1 smartphone in a ‘Rose Gold’ model. The new model is now available in India and will be priced at Rs 15,990. In terms of specifications, the Oppo F1 features a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution along with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 coating for protection along with a 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with 3GB RAM. It offers an inbuilt storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The Oppo F1 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color 2.1 launcher on top. On the camera front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with a single LED flash. For selfie lovers, the device includes an 8MP camera with additional features such as Beauty 3.0, live color filters and more. A 2500mAh battery completes the package. The company is also rumoured to launch the Oppo R9 soon. The teaser image was put out on Weibo and shows off the smartphone’s side, which seems to be made of metal. So far, we have details about both the Oppo R9 and the bigger R9 Plus model that comes from leaks around the web. The R9 is said to feature a massive 6-inch display with QHD resolution. Inside, we can expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 3GB/4GB (depending on variant) of RAM and 64GB of storage that is expandable. Coming to the camera bits, the R9 is expected to have a 21MP sensor on the back and a 13MP unit up front. All of the above is said to be powered by a 3700mAh battery, that should use the company’s recently announced Super VOOC fast charging technology.
