Oppo expected to launch N3 and R5 smartphones on October 29

Update: Oppo is expected to launch the N3 and the R5 at its event in Singapore, which will be held on October 29. Oppo’s R series is known for its slim and sleek form factor, and we expect the R5 to be designed on similar lines. The highlight of the device is expected to come with support for  4G LTE out of the box. So, will it be the slimmest 4G LTE smartphone?   Oppo has released yet another teaser before its October 29th event, which will most likely see the launch of Oppo N3. In the latest teaser, one can see another device standing beside the teased Oppo N3, with both phones hidden by a curtain. We had already seen the  **camera module designed by Oppo** in another teaser, but it looks like Oppo has something else up its sleeves come October 29th. We already have some idea of what the features of the upcoming Oppo N3 might be, thanks to the over enthusiastic Chinese mobile showrooms. GSM Arena had leaked some renders of what could be the Oppo N3, which showcases a cylindrical rotating camera design. From the image above, it is not immediately evident if that is indeed the design of the other phone.  Oppo has also claimed that one of its designs will incorporate a lithium-aluminum alloy whereas the other one will use stainless steel. Earlier there was some information on the Oppo N3 leaked thanks to over enthusiastic Chinese mobile stores which have already started taking pre-orders for the Oppo N3. According to the advertising boards outside the stores, the Oppo N3 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch full HD display and a rotating 16MP camera. If indeed this is true, then the Find 7 will still remain the only Oppo smartphone with a 2560 x 1440 display. Another detail that is seen in the chart above is the Chinese pricing at 4,928 Chinese Yuan which comes to roughly Rs 43,000. We wonder how many more teasers Oppo will release before their main event on October 29th.
