Oppo announces launch of limited, special Diwali Edition Oppo F1s in India for Rs 17,990

Oppo, the popular Chinese electronics manufacturer, launched a special, Diwali edition, of their latest flagship, the Oppo F1s. The new Diwali edition will come with a special Diwali edition packaging and a Diwali-themed lamp on the flame engraved on the back. The flame will be engraved on a golden-hued back panel with signatures from Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor. The company claims that the engraved signature will not fade away as time passes and the technology used in the engraving is robust. The Diwali edition Oppo F1s can be preordered from 8 October exclusively on Oppo stores. The smartphone will be made available on Snapdeal and Oppo exclusive brick-and-mortar store ‘Oppo concepts stores’ across the country from 14 October, as reported by The Mobile Indian. Oppos F1s will pack a 5.5-inch High Definition IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5GHz ruling on 3GB RAM. A Mali T860 GPU will provide graphics for all the gaming needs. The F1s sports 32GB of internal storage with an expandable storage slot to expand the storage up to 128GB via a microSD card. The device is equipped with a 16MP f/2.0 camera module on the rear and a 13MP f/2.2 module on the front with LED flash and screen flash respectively. It will sport a fingerprint sensor on the home button at the front. The phone runs Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. The device will offer the usual assortment of connectivity options in the form of Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB 2.0, LTE-enabled nano-SIM slot.
