Oppo has introduced the new Oppo A53 smartphone in China. However, no details regarding price or availability has been announced yet. Also, the company has not disclosed whether it was launch the smartphone in other countries as well.

Oppo has introduced the new Oppo A53 smartphone in China. The device has been listed on Oppo’s Chinese website. However, no details regarding price or availability has been announced yet. Also, the company has not disclosed whether it will launch the smartphone in other countries as well.

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution along with a 2.5D curved glass and a pixel density of 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded via microSD card.

The Oppo A53 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. The dual-SIM supporting smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box on top of ColorOS 2.1. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, and USB 2.0. A 3075mAh battery completes the package.

In November, Oppo introduced the Oppo A33 smartphone with 4G LTE support in China. The smartphone that is now on sale on Oppo’s official website is priced at CNY 1499 (approximately Rs 16,000), which is pretty high considering the features that the smartphone offers and even what the competition has on offer.
