 "Openmoko FreeRunner Could be next Android Handset")
The rumors are out that the next new Android powered handset that could make the scene would be Openmoko’s Neo FreeRunner. While it’s still a rumor it also seems like a likely possibility as the FreeRunner is supposed to be one of the most developer friendly handsets around. With plenty of hardware to support plenty of software the handset could ideal for the Android platform. A match made in heaven, you could say.
Although nothing is confirmed yet, there seem to be a few blurry images making the rounds with a FreeRunner handset running on the Android OS. 2009 will of course shed some light on the situation and perhaps even a pricing.
With OpenMoko’s handset being available in the country, could this be our chance to get an actual, honest t to goodness Android handset?
