OnePlus is on a roll with the pace of updates for the latest flagship, OnePlus 3. Four updates in little more than a month’s time proves that the company is not just rolling out ‘updates’ for the sake of it. The first major update for consumers, OxygenOS 3.2.0 which was later rolled back because of SIM detection issue, saw the company trying to fix issues reported by reviewers and users. The fixed update, OxygenOS 3.2.1 was rolled out right after the rollout for 3.2.0 was suspended with fixes along with June 2016 security updates.
With the latest OxygenOS 3.2.2 update, the company isn’t just releasing a statement about their continued commitment regarding timely updates. Instead, it is letting actions speak for itself. The latest update adds July 2016 security bulletin to the phone along with other issues that were widely reported on OnePlus forums.
The issues fixed in the update include improved notification management in doze mode, fix of the alert slider in silent mode, disable fingerprint sensor in the pocket, adding NFC toggle in quick settings and improvement in video recording. The update will roll out in staged fashion so it might take 1-2 days for the update to appear on your device. This proves that the staff and developers are listening to the consumer feedback to enhance the user experience.
