After OnePlus launched the much talked about **OnePlus 2** , the company plans to offer a price drop for the OnePlus One. As of now, the OnePlus One 16GB is priced at Rs 18,998 whereas the 64GB variant is priced at Rs 21,998, both selling via Flipkart. In conversation with Business Today, Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus-India confirmed that the company will not discontinue any storage variant of the OnePlus One. However, he stated that consumers can expect a price drop for the OnePlus One in the coming days. In addition, Agarwal has said the company plans to sell one million units of OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 combined by the end of this year. He quotes, “Currently, we have production as well as supply constraints. So, depending upon the inventory we receive, we will be able to ship the units.” On the discussion of service support offered in the country, Agarwal revealed OnePlus currently has 50 services centres in India. “We have tied up with three service partners. We offer pickup and drop facility in selected cities. There is a centralised contact centre where all the issues are updated from different regions for real-time content sharing. We are closing issues in three to five days, which we plan to bring down to one to three days”, he added. No buyback offers to upgrade to OnePlus 2 will be available for existing OnePlus One users. However, “those who wish you buy the OnePlus 2 on priority basis can register for the reservation list, Agarwal said. The company will share the invite and users won’t find the need to participate in contests to win the invite.
