OnePlus has opened service centres in India and guarantees a 1 hour turnaround time

On the verge of **announcing** their latest flagship, the OnePlus 3, China-based OnePlus, which has a quite a following in India, has announced plans to set up exclusive service centres in India. What’s more, they aim to guarantee a one hour turnaround time to all customers. The first such service centre, which OnePlus is dubbing Exclusive Service Centres or ESC, has opened in Bangalore. Another 5 centres will be launched in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai, totalling 6 OnePlus ESCs in India. OnePlus claims that the centres will set a new service standard for the country with its “stellar customer support infrastructure.” The service centres will be able to avail of the existing complimentary pickup-and-drop services for remote locations within the serviced cities. The service centres will also double as “omnichannel shopping” experiences, where users can experience various OnePlus offerings offline before purchase. The locations have been carefully selected to “fit the profile of OnePlus users” and to enable them to have a “productive time” while at the centres. In a press release, Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India is quoted as saying, “We are thrilled to launch our first Exclusive Service Centre in Bangalore. With this launch, we embark on a journey of a renewed commitment to resolve customer issues within an hour. Our promise to our fans is to offer exceptional smartphone experience while complementing it with world-class support and infrastructure. This is yet another step in fulfilling that commitment.” The OnePlus 3 is expected to launch on June 14.
