OnePlus founder and CEO Liu Zuohu has posted what seems to be the first photo from the front camera of the OnePlus 3. It’s been reported that the image was taken from an 8MP camera, leading us to believe that the OnePlus 3 will indeed feature an 8MP front camera.
Priceraja also analysed the image and indicates that it’s a 2448x3264 pixel (that’s equivalent to 8MP) image with a size of 1.73 MB.
Regarding the rest of the device, we know very little. The rumour mill has been at work of course and a lot of details have emerged, but there’s nothing concrete and we’re yet to receive any confirmation from OnePlus themselves.

What we’ve heard so far , and this is just rumour, is that the device will feature an AMOLED screen and 3,000mAh battery. The device is also expected to go on sale in “Q2 2016.”
Other rumours indicate a glass front, a replaceable, textured back and a physical home button that will double as a fingerprint scanner. The device also might be powered by a Snapdragon 820 which would be supported by 4-6GB of RAM. Storage options are expected to start at the 32GB mark.
It’s also expected that the device will boast of a 16MP rear camera and take advantage of OnePlus’ Dash Charge patent to add fast charging support.
