OnePlus and Uber partner to giveaway Loop VR headsets on-demand to fans

OnePlus has partnered with ride-sharing service Uber to make it easier for OnePlus fans to obtain a OnePlus Loop VR Headset. The partnership will allow OnePlus users to get their hands on the VR headset just in time for the big VR launch tomorrow within minutes of booking it via the Uber app.

Fans will be able to order their OnePlus Loop VR Headsets starting 14 June from 3PM. All they will need to do is log on to the Uber app using a valid Uber ID and enter the ONEPLUS3VR promo code under the “Promotions” tab. After entering the promo code, users will need to head back to the main screen and click on the UberVR icon. An Uber cab will be on its way to deliver the headset for free. Public sales for the OnePlus 3 will begin soon after the event on Amazon.in at 12:30 AM IST.

Uber will fuel this on-demand OnePlus Loop VR Headset delivery service that will be available in about 8 Indian cities in India. The list of cities where the headsets will be available via the app includes, New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai and Chandigarh.
