OnePlus 5T Lava Red colour variant expected to launch in India on 11 January

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has been teasing since the last two days about the launch of a new product on all of its social media platforms. The post said “Powerful radiance is right around the corner. 2 days to go!”

The accompanying photo was that of a red coloured edge of what could be the OnePlus 5T. Check out our full review of the OnePlus 5T here .

All these hints are indicative that OnePlus is about to launch the Lava Red colour variant of the OnePlus 5T in India. To recall, the Lava Red colour is a limited edition variant which is solely available in China at the moment.

It could be expected that this colour variant will also only be limited edition with 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM, much like the earlier released Star Wars Edition OnePlus 5T. The Chinese smartphone company  has also announced  a new Sandstone White variant of the  OnePlus 5T .

This variant will be priced at $559 (approx Rs 35,400) and is currently only available in the US.

The new Sandstone White variant of the OnePlus 5T will also mark the return of the grippy sandstone finish, which was loved by fans of the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2. Sadly, the availability of the Sandstone White OnePlus 5T in India is still unknown.
