OnePlus 5 with Snapdragon 835 and dual cameras now available in open sale with prices starting at Rs 32,999

Chinese smartphone OnePlus 5 will be available on open sale starting Tuesday on online marketplace Amazon.in and oneplusstore.in, the company said in a statement. The Midnight Black version (8 GB RAM/128 GB storage) is priced at Rs 37,999, while the price for Slate Gray version (6 GB RAM/64 GB storage) is Rs 32,999. The smartphone powered by Octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 16MP+20MP rear dual-camera combination and 16MP front shooter was launched in India on June 22 and was first available in the country exclusively through Amazon. “We are humbled by the response we have seen for the early access sales on Amazon.in as well as the pop-up events held across five cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad) in India,” said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India, in a statement. The device will also be available in OnePlus experience stores for offline purchase as well as at 39 Vodafone stores across Delhi and Bengaluru. Consumers can avail a cashback of Rs 1,500 on purchase through SBI credit and debit cards till June 28, 2017. All OnePlus 5 users will be eligible for a complimentary 12-month accidental damage insurance by Servify on downloading the Kotak 811 savings account and activating it with an initial deposit of Rs 1,000 in the introductory period, the statement said.
