OnePlus has brought back its ‘high on demand’ 10,000 mAh power bank to India which is now available via Amazon India for purchase. The company will be selling the device for a price of Rs 1,399 but states that prices will go up from January 2016. OnePlus stated via its blog, “We understand your frustration at not being able to get your hands on the OnePlus Power Bank but we’ve had to battle some regulatory hurdles as well as a mind-numbingly lengthy product certification process.” However, it added that, “But, things are about to change. We are very pleased to inform you that all of the required processes have been cleared. Unfortunately, an increase in production and operational costs have led to an increase in product price that will come into effect starting 2016.” The portable power bank comes equipped with dual USB ports (5V-2A) for charging two devices at a time. It also comes with a battery indicator LED along with safety features to prevent overcharging and overheating. The battery is also backed by one year manufacturer warranty. It claims to provide three full charges for the OnePlus One. In March, OnePlus has started shipping the 10,000mAh Power Bank in the US. The company had also promised an India launch soon and released a statement saying, “As for our fans in Europe and India, you won’t have to wait long, either. We are ironing out the logistics process for a smoother shipping experience.”
