Official Samsung Galaxy C5, Galaxy C7 images leak out in promotional material

Samsung’s Galaxy C5 and C7 smartphones have surfaced plenty of times in leaked images and live images, but new images that come from a Chinese website reveal the smartphones from every single angle possible. The new images that come from digi.tech.qq and reveal the first promotional images of what appears to be one of the freshest designs for Samsung’s mid-range smartphones yet. While we are not too sure whether this would be the C5 or the C7, we are pretty sure that it is one of them. More importantly, Samsung’s designs in a particular series of smartphones only vary by size so the design is expected to be the same for both smartphones. From the front the handset looks very similar to the HTC’s older A9 smartphone, while the sides seems to have taken inspiration from the iPhone 6 series featuring a uni-body construction that seems to be made of metal. On the back we have some fine gaps for the antennas at the top and bottom that have a lot in common with the HTC One A9, if it weren’t for the centrally placed camera that looks typically Samsung. Samsung China has sent out invites for an event scheduled on May 26. Both the Galaxy C5 and C7 are expected to pack in a Full HD displays. The Galaxy C5 will feature a 5.2-inch unit, while the C7 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch unit. The handsets will be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz UI keeping things refreshed. Coming to the innards, both smartphones are expected to pack in Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipsets or the older Snapdragon 617 SoCs paired with 4GB of RAM.
