The high-end workstation and graphic developer’s GPU market has been doing well. ATI recently launched its 1 GB card setting the pace. In trying to play catch up, Nvidia last week released six new Quadro Fx adaptors last week including the Quadro FX 5500 series which ships with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM. Now
DailyTech reports that they have discovered a new card series to be launched soon called the 4500 X2 adaptor. It will be Quadro FX 4500 adaptor built on the same PCB used for Quad SLI GeForce 7xxx series graphic cards. The monster card will feature four Dual-Link DVI outputs, and will be SLI-ready for Quad SLI.
