ZTE’s subsidiary brand Nubia, has introduced a new smartphone for the India market. The new Nubia N1 Lite is a more affordable version of the N1 which was **launched** in December. With a price tag of Rs 6,999, the company is targeting the sub-Rs 10,000 segment and wants to compete with the like of Xiaomi and Lenovo. While it doesn’t offer a metal finish like most smartphones at this price range, the company does boast about offering a fingerprint scanner and a front facing soft LED flash. Specifications of the N1 Lite include a MediTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, a Mali-T720MP2 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. The display is a 5.5-inch LCD display with a 1280 x 720 resolution. There is 16 GB of internal storage backed up by a microSD card slot which supports cards of up to 128 GB. At the back there is an 8 MP camera with a dual-LED flash and a 4P precision optical lens with an f/2.0 aperture. At the front there is 5 MP selfie camera with a single LED flash. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, dual-SIM support, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio and microUSB 2.0. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery. The N1 Lite will be available on Amazon.in starting from 22 May at 12 PM.
