The NuAns NEO, the unique and elegant looking Windows 10 Mobile smartphone is finally set for a worldwide release. The smartphone was first seen at CES 2016 (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas in early January and had created interest among consumers especially the ones waiting for a new flagship Windows smartphone.
The smartphone is currently only sells in Japan, but according to a report by Windows Central , the handset will hit Kickstarter in the this month itself where consumers will get a chance to pre-book the handset.
NuAns has sent out an official release saying,
The highly anticipated NuAns NEO mobile phone was first spotted at the 2016 Consumer Electronic Tradeshow in Las Vegas in early January. From that moment on, the curiosity and excitement only grew as consumers in the states waiting for news on the NEO. We are pleased to report that we are launching our Kickstarter campaign on the last week of June 2016 where consumers will have the opportunity to pre-purchase one of these units.
The handset was famed for its “TWOTONE” covers, where you could swap the dual-designed back panels of the smartphone from a variety of different textures and colours. The company will also offer Flip covers that wake the phone up when opened.
Specs include a 5-inch 1280x720 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and support for Windows Continuum. It should support global 4G LTE bands and also comes with a USB Type-C port. Pricing has not been confirmed as of yet but it should be up as soon as the handset goes live on Kickstarter.
