Further, this can be controlled via a separate app aptly named as ‘Pikachu Talk’. Through this app, you would be able to talk to Pikachu. The press release, according to Android Authority said that the app would be free and will  launch in Japan, this year. Meanwhile, for overseas users may have to wait till some time in 2018. It would be interesting to see how Pikachu would sound while conversing, since Pokemon creatures don’t talk. On the contrary they are known to make distinct sounds. It is not known whether it will be exclusive to certain models of both the home assistants or if it will be available for all the smart speakers powered by Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Pokemon Go was released in India officially on December 2016. It created quite a hype around itself, so much so that people were seen going around outdoors, courtesy the augmented reality. Niantic Labs, Pokemon Go’s parent company had **earned** around $950 million, last year. It had around 500 million downloads. Within 2 months of its launch, it had hit 70 percent of popularity. It came in competition with Clash of Clans and Candy Crush Saga. In other news, Amazon Echo was recently launched in India. Echo Plus, Echo Dot, and Echo were **released** in India. Considering it has made its entry in India, the new Amazon Echo comes with a Hinglish feature where the Alexa would be talking in a mix of Hindi and English. Amazon Echo is priced at Rs 9,999, while Echo Dot is priced at Rs 4,499. and Echo Plus would be available at Rs 14,999. Simultaneously it would also be launching Amazon Music in India. It comes with local skills such as making grocery list which would include Indian spices and has added other local flavour to it.
