The release states, that at high-resolution 38 megapixels maximum, the phone will allow users to capture an image, then zoom, reframe, crop and resize afterwards. This means that it’s possible to shoot professional images that were only possible with a DSLR with the smartphone. It also allows users to make the best of low-light conditions while taking pictures with their phone.

The release also mentions the phone’s video and sound capabilities. Read below:

In addition to superior still imaging technology, the Nokia 808 PureView also includes full HD 1080p video recording and playback with 4X lossless zoom and the world’s first use of Nokia Rich Recording. Rich Recording enables audio recording at CD-like levels of quality, previously only possible with external microphones. The Nokia 808 PureView also features exclusive Dolby Headphone technology, transforming stereo content into a personal surround sound experience over any headphones and Dolby Digital Plus for 5.1 channel surround sound playback.

However, the 808 PureView runs on the Symbian Belle OS and not Windows. Other technical specifications include, 16 GB internal storage, 4.0-inch AMOLED Display, 1.3 GHz ARM 11 processor and 512 MB of RAM.
