Nokia has already talked about what they intend to showcase for us mobile users come 2010. We know that they plan on having a few more Maemo devices out next year and also reducing the amount of mid-range S40 enabled devices, and yes it is about time the Series 60 UI had a few more changes and adjustments made for both the Touchscreen variety of devices as well as the normal devices. But it seems like a few minor details weren’t included in the previous announcement and I do believe those were quite important.
Image SourceReports are in though about what changes we can expect to see on the Symbian front and they look good. First off we can expect to see multi-touch incorporated into their new capacitive touchscreen handsets, access to various multimedia functions will be made easier, the boring old browser is also on the list for an upgrade and on the whole it seems like the overall plan is to make the S60 UI look better and run better as well.

Season’s Greetings mobile maniacs!
