Nokia Lumia 925 up for pre-order for Rs 33,999

Nokia officially announced its aluminium-clad Lumia 925 smartphone in May this year and followed it up with a listing on its web store accompanied by the “Coming Soon” tag. Now, a couple of months later, the smartphone is finally up on a bunch of e-commerce sites like Flipkart and HomeShop18 for pre-order.

If you’ve been wanting to buy this smartphone, you can head over to any one of these sites and pre-order your unit. On Flipkart.com , for example, the Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone can be pre-ordered for Rs 33,999. Additionally, the site is also offering users an EMI option of three and six months. An exclusive pre-order offer on the site also makes customers eligible for a free Blaupunkt Bluetooth headset worth Rs 1,326.

The Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone introduces a metal design – a first for the Nokia Lumia range – and showcases the latest PureView camera technology, new features and third party applications.

The Lumia 925 smartphone comes with an advanced lens technology and next generation imaging software to capture clearer, sharper pictures and video, including the best low-light images. The Nokia Lumia 925 also introduces the new Nokia Smart Camera mode, which is coming as an update to all Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones. Nokia Smart Camera offers an easy way to capture ten images at once and edit the pictures with options like Best Shot, Action Shot and Motion Focus for creating the perfect high quality image.

Nokia also announced that Hipstamatic will arrive on Nokia Lumia smartphones, allowing people to share their pictures with like-minded enthusiasts on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Instagram.

The polycarbonate back comes in white, grey or black colours. A wireless charging cover can be clipped onto the back of the phone to take advantage of Nokia’s extensive wireless charging accessories and ecosystem. Covers, sold separately, come in white, black, yellow and red.
