The Nokia Lumia 625 smartphone is finally up for pre-order on Snapdeal.com. Those interested should note that they can pre-order it from the site by paying a sum of Rs 1,000 in advance and pay the remaining amount upon its release. Speaking of which, the release date of the Lumia 625 smartphone is listed on the site as the 5th week of August. The smartphone doesn’t seem to be available for pre-order on other popular online retail sites.

This Nokia smartphone was unveiled last month following a string of rumours and leaks surrounding its appearance and specs. The Lumia 625 features a 4.7-inch super-sensitive LCD display – the company’s largest smartphone screen to date. The display can be viewed in direct sunlight and comes with super-sensitive touch technology for use with gloves or nails.
The smartphone is powered by the latest version of Windows Phone 8 and also includes the Nokia Lumia Amber update. Live Tiles update directly to the homescreen and the People Hub feature allows users to stay connected with friends and family. It also packs the benefits of some Windows Phone 8 features like Xbox Live, Microsoft Office and 7GB of online SkyDrive storage.
