Nokia has announced a new phone – the Nokia 3109 classic, which promises to give users long battery life of up to 4 hours of talk time and 16 days of stand-by time. For some reason we can’t seem to find any pictures of the device itself. Though the specs tell us that it has a large keypad and sports a 256K color display.
The 3109 classic is said to be a simple phone that will deliver all basic needs to both consumers and companies and also manage to give them a real; value for their money. It can be used for office use as it includes email with attachments and is capable of syncing with calendars and To-Do lists that you may have on you PC. The device also allows for memory expansion up to 2GB. It also supports a whopping 2,000-entry phone book.

The Nokia 3109 classic also features an Integrated hands-free speaker with other basic functions that include an organizer, notes etc. It also comes equipped with an integrated music player and Bluetooth connectivity. The Nokia 3109 classic is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2007 at an estimated retail price of Rs. 7,713 (EUR 140) and that’s excluding taxes and subsidies.
