Nokia 2 first press renders leak; will come with a huge 4,000 mAh battery

It has been quite a few months since we heard of the Nokia 2, an ultra-budget smartphone that should be good for building the company’s smartphone market share in India. The ultra-budget smartphone is expected to pack in the bare minimum. However, new leaks have not only shed some light on how this budget beauty will look like, but also it battery’s capacity. Evan Blass, Twitter[/caption] According to Roland Quandt (winfuture.de) a recent FCC leak also revealed the battery capacity of the Nokia 2 smartphone. At 4,000 mAh, the smartphone is expected to be super-efficient, not because the Snapdragon 210 is power efficient, but because it just isn’t all that fast with maximum clock speed of 1.1 Ghz . Add to this a massive 4,000 mAh battery paired with an expected 4.7-inch HD display and you can expect some mind blowing numbers when it comes to battery life. Another leak coming from tipster Evan Blass , showcased our first polished (and official-looking) renders of the Nokia 2. Blass has a credible history of leaks, so the devices in all probability will end up looking like ones you see in the render below. Evan Blass, Twitter[/caption] The Nokia 2 appears to be made of plastic and glass and seems to run Android One inside, going by the looks of the rendered images. Evan Blass, Twitter[/caption] The speaker fires via a slit on the bottom right side of the rear plastic panel, while the Nokia logo sits in the center with the camera along with an LED flash sitting high above it. On the front, there is a Nokia logo above the side on the right side of the receiver, while the left side is taken up by the camera. Apart from the specifications mentioned above, a recent Geekbench leak hinted at 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The device is expected to be priced below the Nokia 3, which launched in India at Rs 10,000.
