Here’s yet another feature phone from Nokia. The Nokia 106 is now launched in India for Rs 1,399. The entry-level phone is now available from the company’s online store in three colour variants – black, red and white. Nokia also promises to deliver the handset in five working days.

The Nokia 106 was announced earlier in August for the Chinese market. The feature phone tips the scale at 74.2 grams and measures 112.9x47.5x14.9mm. It features a 1.8-inch QVGA 128 x 160 display and supports single SIM. It can store 500 contacts and includes 32 polyphonic ringtones. The Nokia 106 is also equipped with an 800mAh battery that promises to offer around 10 hours of talktime and 840 hours of standby time.

Some other features of the phone include alphanumeric keypad, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, digital clock, calculator, flashlight, calendar, speaking clock, alarm clock and reminder. Recently, the company also launched three budget smartphones namely, Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503.

The dual SIM (GSM + GSM) Nokia Asha 500 features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, and is the lowest end Asha phone in the market priced at Rs 4,649. The company plans to start selling the Asha 503 from the first week of January 2014 at a price tag of Rs 6,799.
