Taiwan-based Genius has announced the launch of its Genius HP-02NC noise-canceling headphones. The first active noise-canceling headphones from Genius, the HP-02NC is designed to eliminate any ambient noise for improved music listening.

The package includes an in-flight dual-plug adapter for airplane audio system usage. Other notable features are a folding design and a protective carrying case that lets you stow the device in your carry-on luggage, which is perfect while traveling.
The HP-02NC is a full-size eco-friendly headphone that covers the whole ear, yet folds up for compact storage in the soft pouch supplied. The active noise canceling technology is easy adjusted using controls that are integrated into the headphone shells.
Sandeep Ramani, Country Manager, KYE Systems (India) Corp., said: “The Genius HP-02NC reduces ambient noise and provides a quieter environment to enhance audio entertainment. Ambient sound is synthesized with an anti-sound signal produced by the noise canceling circuit, and reduced (over 10dB at 300Hz) so you can hear music against a quieter background.”
The Genius HP-02NC is available with Transtek, Tirupati, Ingram Micro and Redington, the authorized distributors for Genius in India. The MRP is Rs. 6499.
