You can drop all the excitement over the Japanese price cut for the PS3 at TGS, as Kaz Hirai has clearly confirmed, “There are no plans right now to adjust the pricing for the US market.” So you can forget about that cheap $408 20 GB PS3. The prices stay the same at $499 for the lower end 20 GB one and $599 for the 60 GB one with WiFi. At least HDMI is still available in both.
