NIVIDIA launches its GeForce GTX 1070 Ti in the Indian market starting at Rs 39,000

NIVIDIA announced the global launch of its latest high-end GPU, GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. The GTX 1070 Ti is more powerful than the existing GTX 1070 similar to what GTX 1080 Ti was to GTX 1080. NIVIDIA claims that its GTX 1000 series provides up to 3X faster performance than its last generation including support for VR experiences. Talking about the specifications of GTX 1070 Ti, the GPU is based on Nvidia’s Pascal GPU Architecture and packs an impressive 2432 cores that are clocked at 1607 MHz and can be boosted up to 1683 MHz. This is a significant improvement than the 1920 cores in the GTX 1070. The GPU packs 8 GB GDDR5 frame buffer along with 8 Gbps Memory type speed, a 256-bit memory interface width and up to 256 Gbps memory bandwidth. The GPU supports simultaneous Multi-projection, support for VR content, Nvidia Ansel, G-Sync support, GameStream support, GPU 3.0 Boost, and SLI support. It also supports Microsoft DirectX 12 API with feature level 12_1 along with support for Vulkan API and OpenGL 4.5. GTX 1070 Ti is rated at 180 W and it can be added using PCIe 3.0 connectors. The company has launched the 1070 Ti to bridge the gap between the 1070 and the 1080 and compete with Radeon RX Vega 56 in this price range. The company claimed that the graphics card will be available in 238 countries at the launch day but we can guess that it will be difficult considering the craze to mine Bitcoin.
