update
and reported that you will now receive a heart-shaped icon in your notification as soon as you get a sticker. The other major update is that WhatsApp will finally be introducing the live locations feature in Windows Phone. This feature was earlier introduced in Android and iOS around a year back. Another thing mentioned in the report is the fact that the Stickers feature has not been enabled as of yet. The feature is going to be enabled in the future remotely via an OTA. Apart from this, there appear to be no major changes present in the new update. In more WhatsApp news the company is going to launch its “full feature” inter-bank
money transfer service
in India. Four banks will join United Payments Interface (UPI) — which powers the payments service — for WhatsApp, NPCI said. At present, India’s third-biggest lender, ICICI Bank, processes the fund transfers on WhatsApp, the application shows. With inputs from Reuters
