Updating its map feature for Android Google has unveiled an update version of Google Maps 5.3. For existing users of Google Latitude on their profiles, Google has enabled an option that lets them view stats and graphs of their location history. In addition to it, it also includes estimates of how much time the user allocates to his house and office, or elsewhere.

The second feature offered by Google is a much developed version of the pre-existing Latitude check-in. This option notifies the friends of the user whether he is home, or not.
