Syndicate, the first person shooter reboot from Starbreeze studios is all set to get a four player co-operative mode as today it was officially revealed via a brand new gameplay trailer. The co-operative mode will offer players nine separate stand-alone missions, inspired by levels from the 1993 isometric version. You’ll play as one of four characters, Thomir Darius, Emma Thalos, Akuma, and Aidan Fall, all of which bring their own distinct skill set to the table.
While I appreciate the addition of co-operative gameplay, the video did not look particularly impressive coming off as rather generic. Of course, I haven’t played the game myself so I’ll reserve final judgment till we get our hands on a copy. Syndicate releases for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 24th of February 2012.
