Reaper of Souls is expected to be available some time in 2014, and it will be bringing about quite a few changes, including the much-awaited closure of the auction house system. The expansion pack will be adding a bunch of new things, such as the new Crusader character class, several new enemy types, an increased level cap to 70, a new act and new big bad Malthael.

A quick look at the game reveals that Malthael is the fallen angel of wisdom, now an angel of death. He is the leader of a legion of death angels. Malthael is working on reaping the souls of both demons and humans, hence explaining the name of the expansion pack. New monster types include Seraphs, who are ranged spell casters, Executioners and Death Maidens, among others. The new zone—Westmarch—will be randomised for each playthrough, in typical Diablo fashion. The Crusader is a melee class whose combat style revolves around shields, flails and ranged spells.

Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime recently revealed that the game has sold 14 million copies so far .

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
