The PS3’s prized possession, Resistance Fall of Man, is all set to get its share of downloadable content this April with fresh new stuff that’ll include an extended story line as well as newer locations for the single (and hopefully multi) player campaign. According to Sony’s head honcho, Phil Harrison, the fate of a sequel would depend on how well this content is received. The cost of all this bonus content has not been revealed as of now but here’s a slight heads up in case you’re planning on buying this game:

Set in a frightening, alternate 20th century reality, Resistance: Fall Of Man delivers a unique blend of harrowing military action and unnerving horror. In mere decades, the Chimera — a species of unknown origin propagating a virus that converts other life forms into more Chimera — has overrun Russia and all of Europe. Humanity’s hope for survival is slim, and the tide of the battle rests on the shoulders of U.S. Army Ranger, Sgt. Nathan Hale. Players are challenged online and offline as Resistance: Fall of Man in a single player campaign, a co-operative mode and a full online onslaught.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
