Two weeks before the lauuch of the LG G2, the company has released a new ad campaign with a tag line that reads “Learning from You”. The new teaser video lasts for about one and half minute, explaining some interesting statistics of life. It includes just about everything from the number of friends you make and words you know to how many times you laugh, cry and even dream in your lifetime. The teaser video then ends with the line that says, “To me, you are perfect.” The end of the video also gives a glimpse of the backside of the phone, showing off the rear camera with up and down arrows (above and below it). LG then puts up a title saying “Come See…How LG G2 is learning from you.” So, does it have some innovative, intuitive feature to give the user a personalised experience? Well, we’ll have to wait until August 7. Take a look at the LG G2 teaser video:
The new G2 is said to be the successor to its 2012 flagship Optimus G. It is likely to feature 1080p display, back-mounted volume controls, 13MP camera and come powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM. Earlier this month, a couple of images of LG Optimus G2 leaked that give a good look of the device. The images revealed that the handset will be using on-screen buttons instead of LG’s tendency to use the three-button layout below the screen with the Home, Menu and Back buttons.
The Google Moto X , set to launch on August 1, also promises a more personalised usage as the phone will learn and adjust according to the usage by its owner. Moto X will be coming with some really handy motion-sensing capabilities. For instance, starting the camera does not require the user to look for the Camera app icon. Instead, he can just twist his wrist twice and the camera will start up. Looks like companies have begun tapping on software along with high-end hardware.
