Activision has released a new trailer for its upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Ghosts. The trailer shows some of the single player campaigns of the game, like the general setting and the apocalyptic event that started it all. One of the standout scenes of the trailer is that of a dog taking out a soldier who is flying a helicopter.

The plot of the game goes like this: Ten years after a devastating mass event, the nation’s borders and the balance of global power have been redrawn forever. As what’s left of the nation’s Special Operations forces, a mysterious group known only as “Ghosts” leads the fight back against a newly emerged, technologically-superior global power.

Back in July, Activision had announced that those who pre-order Ghosts will get a bonus in the form of a free multiplayer map . The map, dubbed Free Fall, will be available to everyone who pre-orders the game for the PC, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.

The map drops players into a shattered skyscraper on the brink of collapse. Sideways staircases climb into the night sky, elevator shafts run along the ground and what were once windows now form a terrifying glass floor that is hundreds of feet above the city streets. It is a close quarters combat map with which developer Infinity Ward hopes to show off the new dynamic map events that will be making their way into the new Call of Duty game.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is coming out on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
