Activision has announced that the next Call of Duty won't be debuting on PC; in fact it'll be targeted towards consoles only. However, the game itself is likely to be a spin-off (just like Call of Duty: Big Red One) and will not be developed by Infinity Ward. The reason Activision's going with the consoles is because Call of Duty 2, that was one of the 360 launch titles did extremely well for itself in terms of sales and outsold other launch titles. Even though the game fared well on PCs, the console version raked in more dough.
