WB Games has released a new trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins. The game features one of the antagonists that Batman will be facing off against—the snake-themed Copperhead. The assassin seems to have quite a bit in common, stylistically, with Catwoman, because of her lithe cat-like movements. However, much like a snake, she does use poison. Check out the trailer:

A trailer that was released back in June gave us our first chance to hear the new voice actors for Batman and Joker. Roger Craig Smith seems to be doing a decent enough job as the Batman. His voice goes well with the younger version of Bats that we’ll be seeing in Arkham Origins.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

Troy Baker, who we earlier saw in Arkham City as a bunch of characters, including Harvey Dent and Robin, is tasked with filling in the big shoes left behind by Mark Hamill as The Joker. Baker also had a critically-acclaimed role as the protagonist of BioShock Infinite—Booker DeWitt.

A younger dark knight

Batman: Arkham Origins will feature a lot of foes from Batman’s rogue’s gallery, including Black Mask, Deathstroke, Bane, Penguin, Anarky and The Joker. The June trailer also shows off Batman’s new toy—the remote claw. After firing at a target, it lets you continue the shot on to another target.

There is also the new Enhanced Detective Mode, which is much more powerful than the Detective Mode of previous games. For example, Bats can start off detective mode to examine a corpse, which will then give him a brief idea of how that corpse came to be.

Batman: Arkham Origins will be hitting store shelves on October 25 and will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
