Reports earlier this month **hinted at Apple's talks** with ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox ‘rapidly gaining momentum.’ Now a new report by BuzzFeed News reveals the overhauled Apple TV is coming in September. It is most likely at the iPhone event. The company had **earlier planned** to launch the Apple TV at WWDC. However, the plans were canned as Apple didn’t want to take away the focus from its new OS or Music streaming service. With the new product, we will see design changes as well as internal improvements. The all-new Apple TV will bring changes to the device such as App Store, voice control with Siri, and an improved remote with a touch pad. The new box is said to be slimmer and will come improved speed. “The new Apple TV would be released alongside an SDK and app store that would open the platform up. Currently, content providers have to work with Apple to create channels which are then pushed out to everyone with an Apple TV. An app store could increase the amount and variety of content available on the device, and could make the set-top box into a sort of mini game console in its own right,” points out Arstechnica. It should be noted that the Apple TV hasn’t been updated since 2012. Apple is believed to be setting the stage for its subscription internet-TV service. However, citing some sources related to the matter, BuzzFeed News say there are no plans to launch the service alongside the Apple TV. The service could come ’late this year or next year’
