Netflix has finally added support for Picture-in-Picture mode (PIP) for its iOS app. This feature lets you play Netflix videos in a small window while you are working inside another app. This update makes use of iOS’ multi-tasking feature. While the multi-tasking feature has been on Apple iPad since iOS 9, Netflix has only just added the PIP feature, as it requires iOS developers to add in the support for this feature. It will be quite helpful for those who like to get some work done on the side, while watching their favourite Netflix show. The PIP feature works on the iPad Pro, iPad Air or later, iPad mini 2 or later, basically these iPads running iOS 9.3.2 or later. The Netflix app has a small PIP icon on the bottom right hand side of the screen when you open the Netflix iOS app. Pressing this will shrink the video screen size to a smaller dimension, overlaid on the last app you were using. You can drag it around the display and can even adjust the size of the screen.
