My Self Defence Coach announced

If you lack the self defence skills necessary to protect yourself on the mean streets, you may want to consider Ubisoft’s latest Kinect game, My Self Defence Coach. On second thought, don’t, because no amount of gaming can prepare you for a real world fight. However it may not hurt to check this game out from a fitness point of view.

My Self Defence Coach combines fitness workouts and self-defence drills into four primary categories critical to self-defence: technique, stamina, composure and reflexes. Kinect’s innovative tracking technology provides players with immediate feedback on their movements, helping to make the basics of self-defence easy regardless of the player’s skill level. These self-defence techniques are taught by an experienced, real-life self-defence coach. Players will get in shape as they learn new skills with fitness routines inspired by both kickboxing and martial arts. They will also improve their reflexes with a collection of fun mini-games.

My Self Defence Coach releases exclusively for the Xbox360 this November.
