'My Last Wish' lets you share your one goal before you die

A bucket list app of sorts, My Last Wish is a social network designed to let you share your one goal before you die and find people around the world with the same or similar goals. Note, you don’t actually have to be dying to use the social network but it does impose a bit of the “one last thing you do before you die” sentiment. While some people have found the social network a bit morbid, other users have already utlized it to express their last wish like owning a pet store or writing a book. The social network comes in the form of an iOS app designed by White Lotus Corporation. Kirtan Thaker, a co-founder at White Lotus said, “I believed in the possibility that there can be two persons in this world with same hopes, dreams and wishes. I was confident that if we create a app where this possibility can be turned into reality, people will love this concept and they will get a chance to make friends who are unknown but having just one thing in common which is the last wish.”

When you upload your wish to ‘My Last Wish’, you can also choose to add your email address and phone number so people with similar wishes can contact you (of course, there are issues of privacy that come up here).  When you tap on a user’s contact information within the app, the info will automatically be added to your phone. Furthermore, you can receive push notifications when people post their wishes to the app’s wall. You can also “aLike” a wish if it’s similar to or same as the one that you have and “give a five” to someone who doesn’t have the same wish as you but you support their endeavour anyway. You can add users as your friends. Future features include location support so people wishing the same wish in the same area can find each other and of course, an Android version of the app. The app currently has a mish-mash of wishes so in future updates, wish categories would be helpful.
