A Mumbai-based firm called Environics has created a chip, which claims to cut down the radiation emitted from our devices. DNA reported that the risk lies in the exposure to electromagnetic radiation and thermal emissions of these devices. Ajay Poddar, Managing Director of Environics said that, “Long conversations a mobile phone will often heat up the user’s ear or cause headaches. This can be avoided by simply using hands-free accessories”. As radiations from these devices interfere with our body, the company’s Enviro Chip and Enviro Strip will correct them and will change the wave forms to irregular ones. These will be in sync with nature’s and the human body’s wave forms. The report further states that the Enviro Strip was developed for mobile towers to neutralize radiations from the source itself. However, they have found it hard to convince telecom companies to adopt the technology. Ajay Poddar also added that, “All telecom companies are in denial and scared of litigation so they take umbrage under phrases such as “no conclusive evidence”, “no substantial proof” to escape responsibility for any instances of cancer caused due to harmful radiations from cell phone networks.” Users can stick the chip onto particular parts of the devices to correct the radiation. Environics’ clients include Pepsi Foods, ICICI Bank and Taj Group of Hotels. The Enviro Chip is available in certain retail stores starting at Rs 400 and also available e-commerce websites as well.
