Let’s flashback to CES 2011, where MSI showed off a couple of their tablets , the Windpad 100A and Windpad 100W. The Windpad 100W was supposed to get a first quarter release and it looks like that is coming true, because the Taiwanese company today officially launched the Windows 7 tablet and shed some more light on the device, according to Fudzilla .
In like the Wind
The Windpad 100W will be powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Menlow Z530 processor and will boast of a 10.1-inch multi-touchscreen (1024x600), 2GB RAM, 32GB of SSD storage (expandable via SD cards), two webcams, mini-HDMI out and USB ports on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Operating System. Connectivity options include WiFi and Bluetooth.
The EU price is set for 599 Euros (Rs. 33,500) which comes as a surprise because the price point announced at CES was $499 (Rs. 22,500). The cheaper, the better so we hope it sticks to the CES pricing when it eventually does make its way to India.
