MSI Launches WindPad 110W in India

We reported back in March about MSI’s plans to launch the WindPad 110W and that day has finally arrived. In a press conference in Delhi on June 10th, 2011, MSI announced the availability of the WindPad 110W,  a 10.1” tablet running AMDs C-50 APU. No details have been revealed on the pricing yet, so we don’t think it will be readily available in the market just yet.

The WindPad 110W will be running Windows 7 Home Premium which should work smoothly with AMD’s Fusion APU. MSI has chosen the C-50 Ontario-based APU rather than the Zacate based E-350 for a better battery life. The integrated HD 6310 graphics is DX 11 compliant and supports UVD 3.0 which means it can easily handle HD videos without a hitch. For storage, MSI has added a 32GB SSD, Wi-Fi b/g/n, light sensor and a built-in G-sensor.
