Mpowered Release Carmella for iPad

MPowered an independent game development studio based out of Delhi has come up with a new multi-platform casual game called Carmella. Carmella is a flying squirrel who has a weakness for nuts (heh), leaping from branch to branch in search of that fruit. But obviously, things don’t go quite as planned and in her quest for nuts she’ll encounter “a mysterious group of nagging Snakes and Crows”. The game will be available on the App Store for the iPad starting today for $0.99. And here are some of its features:

The quest for nuts begins

- A cutesy puzzle-platformer with motion-tilt controls for gliding
- Beautiful 2D hand-drawn graphics and cut-scenes
- Play through 30 challenging stages (divided in to three Levels)

If you aren’t too convinced about Carmella yet, the first twenty levels of the game are playable on Facebook right now, free of cost.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now. see more
